Franciscan Starburst Dishes

Sometimes treasures hide right in our kitchen cabinets, such as one of our recent finds, the Franciscan Starburst dishes, from 1954-1966 manufactured in Los Angeles California. We discovered they are like gold in your kitchens.

Due to their whimsical, futuristic, outer space design, much like the TV show “The Jetson’s”, their midcentury designs are making a comeback at a very impressive value. In most cases we are unable to sell dishes at anywhere near the price our owners paid for them. However, these dishes are different. Collectors are willing to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to complete their set. Be on the lookout at local Estate sales such as Resolution Estate Services for these great finds.

Winter Time!

Winter can be a great time to have an estate sale. It's a time when there is a lot less competition and people are hungry to get out of the house and find a bargain. Also, many store owners are looking to find new merchandise for their store inventory.

Whatnot Shelf

Whatnot means etcetera. Whatnot has always referred to knickknacks, but a whatnot used to be the actual name of the shelves to put those little knickknacks on.
